Shannon Moxley Jones
ABOUT ME
Shannon Jones always had a love for writing and was recognized at an early age for her creative and imaginative stories. Jones pursued a successful career in marketing and public relations. After having an epiphany one morning, Jones decided to reevaluate her life's purpose and traded in her corporate career returning to her roots as a writer. She shares her spiritual journey with the world in her first book, "Why Do I Exist."
In 2015, Jones published her second book, titled "That's Just Me", a children's book that celebrates the diversity of multi-cultures. The book encourages all kids to love and embrace their unique qualities and individuality.
Born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Washington, DC, Jones currently is an school counselor for Montgomery County Public School System. She serves as a youth mentor in her local community. She uses her story as a platform to inspire and encourage a new generation to dream big and to trust God with every life decision.
In addition to being a school counselor, Jones practices as a Licensed Professional Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communication and holds two Master's degree: Business Management and Education/School Counseling. Jones resides with her husband and two kids in Maryland.
